Languages and translation

Work in your own language.

Your staff and families speak many languages, but the software only speaks one. In Condor, each person picks their language, and notes can be written in the language the writer knows best.

HIPAA-ready · SOC 2-ready · Screens show sample data only

Five languages, picked by each person

The problem

When the screens are only in English, staff guess and families tune out.

What Condor does

Condor runs in English, Spanish (Español), Haitian Creole (Kreyòl ayisyen), Chinese Simplified (中文 简体) and Russian (Русский). Each staff member sets their own language, and so does each family member. One person’s choice does not change anyone else’s screen.

Write in your language, read in theirs

The problem

A note written in someone’s second language loses detail, and a translated copy can replace what they really said.

What Condor does

Pick the language you are writing in and write the note in your own words. Readers who use another language see a translation, labeled machine-translated, with a Show original button. The original is kept for the record.

  • Choose Written in on each note
  • Translations are labeled machine-translated
  • Show original, one tap
  • The original stays on the record

Honest limits

  • Note translations are machine translations. Check the original for anything clinical or legal.
  • Screen text in languages other than English is still a draft until a native speaker reviews it, and the app says so at the top of the screen.
  • Five languages today. Ask us if you need another.

It all comes back to the Scorecard

Every log, note, program and report in Condor feeds the Behavior Scorecard, and the Scorecard feeds Outcomes. One record, one picture of how each person is doing.
